Crowns:

These are a metal/porcelain cap which sits over the entire tooth.  They are used to protect a tooth from cracking after root-canal therapy treatment, or can be used to change the shape, colour and alignment of a tooth.

Bridges:

These are two or more crowns connected together by a false tooth, which are used to replace a missing tooth.  A bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace a missing tooth by joining an artificial tooth permanently to adjacent teeth or implants.  A bridge is fabricated by reducing the teeth in size to accommodate the material to be used to restore the size and shape of the original teeth in a correct alignment and contact with the opposing teeth.

Veneers:

These are thin plastic or porcelain facings bonded over the front surface of the incisors to change their colour, shape and alignment.  They can produce fantastic results and require only minimal preparation of the teeth, About 1mm in depth.  They may not be suitable for people who clench/grind their teeth or who habitually chew on fingernails or foreign objects.
